She makes friends with a scarecrow, a tin woodman, and a cowardly lion. She meets good witches and bad witches. The Wizard of Oz finds a way for Dorothy to go home. Dorothy finds out that Oz is a human who was swept away in a balloon. Soon she goes back to her home in Kansas.
